BioI'm a strange mixture of a superficial girlie-girl, a dorkarific political idealist, and an uber liberal indie kid... A little bit of this, a little bit of that. I have been told that I am my own genre, that I can only be explained by "oh it's just Audra," and that I'm a little over-the-top----but all in good ways, part of what I consider to be my own quirky kind of charm. I think of myself as a silly, fun kind of person that likes to giggle, relax, and enjoy life. I have my ups and downs, but generally enjoy finding the silver lining in even the darkest cloud.
I am a Special Education teacher in downtown New York City, via the New York City Teaching Fellows. I pretty much love my job, and will talk about it to no end if you allow me to.
My favorite things are rocking out to music either in my apartment or at a concert, finding cool vegetarian-friendly places to eat and catching up on my Netflix Queue---along with a million other things. I'm always up for new experiences, new fun things to do though, and hate being stuck inside 24/7. The beach/mountains/outdoors is love... Or really, getting out and doing anything outside the apartment, haha, though I have to admit that sometimes a chillaxful night at home is just what the dr ordered!
I am also the proud owner of Kinsey, the anti-cat. He rolls over to get his belly scratched, has a bathrobe, and walks on a leash. Seriously, you have no idea.
